Privacy Policy
Effective October 8, 2026 · Last updated October 8, 2026
We respect your privacy and keep this Site deliberately simple: no cookies, no analytics and no advertising trackers. This policy explains what little information we receive, why, and the choices you have.
1. Who we are
The REQIQ website at req-iq.com (the “Site”) is operated by Vyntril Technologies (“Vyntril”, “we”, “us” or “our”), Chicago, Illinois, United States. For personal information collected through the Site, we are the party responsible for deciding how that information is used (the “controller”).
You can reach us about privacy at any time at support@req-iq.com.
2. What this policy covers
This policy applies only to the Site: visiting its pages and contacting us through it. It does not apply to the REQIQ product.
When an organization uses REQIQ, candidate and employee information is processed on that organization's behalf and under its instructions, as set out in our agreement with them. In that role the organization is responsible for its own privacy notices to candidates. If you are a job applicant with a question about how an employer uses REQIQ, please contact that employer directly.
3. Information we collect
Information you choose to give us
When you join the waitlist or contact us, we receive the information you provide, which may include your name, work email address, company, job title, approximate hiring volume and the contents of your message. When you submit the waitlist form, this information is stored in our database so our team can review it and contact you about REQIQ, and we send an email confirming you joined to the address you gave.
Please do not send us candidate information, special category data (such as health or ethnicity) or other sensitive personal information through the Site.
Information collected automatically
Like any website, the Site is delivered by a hosting provider whose servers process technical information needed to deliver pages and keep the service secure, such as your IP address, browser type, device information, the pages requested and the date and time of the request. This information is held in the provider's operational and security logs.
When you use the waitlist form, we also process information needed to protect it from spam and abuse:
- Bot check. The form uses Cloudflare Turnstile to confirm a person is submitting it. Cloudflare processes technical information such as your IP address and browser characteristics for this purpose only.
- Email delivery. When we email you, our email provider tells us whether the message was delivered, bounced or marked as spam. We keep these records, and any unsubscribe request, so we never email an address that can't or doesn't want to receive our messages. Every email we send includes an unsubscribe link.
- Rate limiting. We keep a one-way, keyed hash of your IP address for 24 hours to limit repeated submissions. We do not store your IP address itself, and the hash is not kept with your request.
What we do not collect
We do not set cookies, and the Site does not use analytics tools, advertising trackers, tracking pixels or social media plugins, or build profiles of visitors. Fonts and other assets are served from our own domain rather than from third-party font or content networks; the only third-party code is the Cloudflare Turnstile bot check on the waitlist page.
4. How we use information
We use the information described above to:
- respond to your enquiry, manage the waitlist and arrange a demo if you ask for one;
- communicate with you about REQIQ in connection with your request;
- operate, maintain and secure the Site; and
- comply with our legal obligations and protect our rights.
We do not sell personal information, we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising, and we do not use it for automated decision-making that produces legal or similarly significant effects on you.
5. Legal bases for processing
If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or another jurisdiction that requires a legal basis for processing, we rely on:
- Legitimate interests — responding to business enquiries and keeping the Site secure, balanced against your rights and interests;
- Steps before a contract — where you ask us for a place on the waitlist, a demo or information with a view to using REQIQ; and
- Legal obligation — where we must keep or disclose information by law.
Where the law requires your consent for a particular use, we will ask for it, and you may withdraw it at any time.
7. International transfers
Our service providers may process information in countries other than the one you are in, including the United States. Where the law requires it, we put appropriate safeguards in place for these transfers, such as standard contractual clauses approved by the relevant authorities.
8. How long we keep information
We keep enquiry information for as long as reasonably necessary to respond to you and to maintain any resulting business relationship, and then delete or anonymize it, unless we need to keep it longer to meet a legal obligation or resolve a dispute. The hashed IP addresses used for rate limiting are deleted after 24 hours. Unsubscribe and bounce records are kept for as long as needed to honor them. Hosting logs are kept by our provider for a limited period for operational and security purposes.
9. Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect personal information, including encryption of data in transit to and from the Site. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security, but we work to protect your information and to respond promptly to any incident.
10. Your rights and choices
Depending on where you live, including under the GDPR, the UK GDPR and U.S. state privacy laws such as the California Consumer Privacy Act, you may have the right to:
- access the personal information we hold about you;
- correct information that is inaccurate or incomplete;
- delete your information;
- restrict or object to certain processing;
- receive your information in a portable format;
- withdraw consent where processing is based on consent; and
- opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information (we do not sell or share it).
To make a request, email support@req-iq.com. We may need to verify your identity before acting, and we will respond within the time required by applicable law. You may use an authorized agent where the law allows, and we will not treat you differently for exercising your rights. If you are in the EEA or UK, you may also lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
11. Children
The Site is intended for business audiences and is not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.
12. Links to other websites
The Site links to other websites, such as vyntril.com. Their own privacy policies govern how they handle information, and we encourage you to review them.
13. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the Site or the law changes, for example if we introduce an online form or analytics. We will post the updated version here with a new “Last updated” date and, where the changes are significant, give more prominent notice or ask for consent where required.
14. Contact us
Questions or requests about this policy or your personal information can be sent to support@req-iq.com. Please also see our Terms of Use.
