Terms of Use

These terms explain the rules for using the REQIQ website. They are short and written to be read. The REQIQ product itself is provided under a separate customer agreement.

1. Acceptance of these terms

These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your use of the REQIQ website at req-iq.com (the “Site”), operated by Vyntril Technologies (“Vyntril”, “we”, “us” or “our”). By using the Site you agree to these Terms. If you use the Site on behalf of an organization, you confirm that you are authorized to accept these Terms for it. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.

2. About the Site

The Site provides general information about REQIQ. It is not an offer to sell and does not create any contract for the REQIQ product. Access to REQIQ is provided only under a separate written agreement with Vyntril, and if that agreement conflicts with these Terms, the agreement prevails.

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • use the Site in any unlawful, fraudulent or harmful way;
  • attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Site, its hosting infrastructure or any connected system;
  • interfere with or disrupt the Site, including by introducing malicious code or placing an unreasonable load on it;
  • scrape, harvest or copy Site content by automated means, or use it to train machine-learning or AI models, without our written permission;
  • misrepresent your identity or any affiliation with us; or
  • send us candidate information or other sensitive personal information through the Site.

4. Intellectual property

The Site and its content, including text, graphics, design, software and the REQIQ and Vyntril names and logos, are owned by Vyntril or its licensors and are protected by intellectual property laws. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable and revocable license to view the Site for the purpose of learning about REQIQ. No other rights are granted.

5. Third-party trademarks

Workday, Workday Extend and Workday Recruiting are trademarks of Workday, Inc. REQIQ is independently developed by Vyntril Technologies and is not affiliated with, sponsored by or endorsed by Workday, Inc. References to Workday and other third-party products are made only to describe compatibility, and all other trademarks belong to their respective owners.

6. Information on the Site

We work to keep the Site accurate, but its content is provided for general information only and may change without notice. In particular:

  • product features, capabilities and availability may change and may vary by configuration;
  • industry statistics are attributed to their published sources and provided for context, and we do not guarantee their accuracy;
  • figures marked with an asterisk are internal benchmarks or expected outcomes, and actual results vary by organization; and
  • sample scores, candidates and competency weight designs are illustrative examples, not real people or customer data.

Nothing on the Site is legal, employment or compliance advice. REQIQ is designed to support human decision-making; organizations that use it remain responsible for their hiring decisions and for complying with applicable employment and data protection laws.

7. Your submissions

Information you send us through the Site is handled as described in our Privacy Policy. If you share ideas or feedback about REQIQ, you agree that we may use them without any obligation to you.

8. Third-party websites

The Site may link to websites we do not control. We are not responsible for their content, policies or practices, and a link does not mean we endorse them.

9. Disclaimer

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Site is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Site will be uninterrupted, error-free or free of harmful components.

10. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Vyntril will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, data or goodwill, arising from or related to your use of the Site. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Site is limited to one hundred U.S. dollars (US$100).

Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including liability for fraud, or for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or any rights you have as a consumer that cannot be waived.

11. Indemnity

To the extent permitted by law, you agree to indemnify Vyntril against claims, losses and reasonable costs arising from your breach of these Terms or your misuse of the Site.

12. Changes to the Site and these Terms

We may change, suspend or discontinue any part of the Site at any time. We may also update these Terms by posting a new version here with a new “Last updated” date. Your continued use of the Site after an update means you accept the revised Terms.

13. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Illinois, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute relating to the Site will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located in Cook County, Illinois, except where mandatory law gives you the right to bring proceedings elsewhere.

14. General

If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the rest remains in effect. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy, are the entire agreement between you and us about the Site.
